Position Title Senior Financial Controller Location India Hybrid or Remote Reports To Founder CEO About KMK Consulting Inc KMK Consulting Inc is a leading provider of actionable insights for the life sciences industry specializing in Commercial Analytics Sales Planning Operations and HEOR RWE We partner with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to transform complex data into strategic solutions that drive commercial success optimize patient journeys and enhance real-world outcomes Headquartered in Morris Plains NJ with a growing presence in India and China KMK delivers tailored solutions project-based on-site or hybrid that empower our clients to innovate and make measurable impact Learn more at About the Role The Senior Controller will play a critical role in overseeing KMK s global financial operations ensuring accuracy compliance and operational efficiency This hands-on leadership role reports directly to the Founder CEO and will work closely with the existing part-time P T Controller The position can be either full-time or part-time and may be based in the U S or India We re seeking an experienced finance professional who combines strong accounting expertise with operational acumen and the ability to manage end-to-end financial processes in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment Key Responsibilities Core Accounting Reporting Manage and reconcile company books monthly ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Oversee and maintain QuickBooks ensuring integrity and consistency of financial data Maintain oversight of accounts payable receivable expense management and cash flow Financial Planning Analysis Lead budgeting forecasting and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership on financial performance risks and opportunities Compliance Operations Oversee payroll processing and coordinate with Paylocity ensuring compliance with all payroll tax obligations Liaise with the IRS state tax agencies auditors external tax accountants and select vendors to ensure timely filings and compliance Assist with annual audits and financial reviews as needed Provide ad hoc operational and administrative support in a collaborative small-office environment Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting Finance or related field CPA qualification preferred Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience ideally in a professional services or consulting environment Strong knowledge of U S GAAP state and federal tax compliance and payroll management Proficient in QuickBooks QB and Microsoft Excel VLOOKUP PivotTables and advanced formulas Experience with Deltek or similar ERP systems is a plus Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision Why Join KMK Work directly with the Founder CEO and make a strategic financial impact Collaborate within a dynamic fast-growing global organization Play a key role in strengthening financial systems and processes Competitive compensation and benefits package Flexible hybrid remote options available for qualified candidates in India Powered by JazzHR
