Responsibilities:
- Define goals and build GTM strategy for sales team including acquisition, expansion, revenue, margins etc.
- Build, Scale and Lead a highly efficient and productive field sales team in scalable model that enables high growth and utilizes the best combination of field sales people to best serve our customers.
- Monitoring and analysis of key sales metrics of Pan-India including sales figures, sales personnel, productivity ratios, client's work status and receivables.
- Create a predictable sales model that enables accurate forecasting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Implement or optimize sales processes, structures, and rigor that result in improved sales team performance, flexibility, and timely reporting.
- Continually assess, clarify, and validate strategy and process. Track, measure and report on sales effectiveness and adjust programs and strategies as necessary. Establishes and governs the sales organizations performance management system.
- Collaborate with Marketing for demand generation, inbound and outbound, and other marketing programs to drive high conversion rates and efficient customer acquisition.
- Coordinates the involvement of sales support personnel and/or leadership to ensure customers expectations are met
- Works with the leadership team to ensure strategic and business objectives are met.
- Accurate insight into the competitive landscape, including detailed assessments of key competitors, including why opportunities are won or lost
- Recruit, develop & retain respective teams by formulating their development plans, meeting their training needs and communicating with them on a regular basis.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field from top tier college. MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a sales leader and minimum 5 years of experience in scaling the Direct Field Sales
- Should have managed at least a team of 100+ sales professionals at least once with minimum 5-8 direct reportees.
- Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply chain or commercial vehicle segment is a plus.
- Complete understanding of various sales techniques and methods
- Familiarity with Sales CRM software
- Excellent critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
