Fleetx.io - Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Java/Playwright Testing

Description : We are looking for a passionate Software QA Engineer with strong experience in frontend, backend, and mobile app testing, along with hands-on automation using Playwright and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our web and mobile applications through comprehensive manual and automated : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript.- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile applications (frontendand backend).- Conduct mobile app testing on Android and iOS platforms- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.- Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to building effective test strategies and plans.- Conduct API testing using Playwright integrations- Analyze test failures, debug issues, and provide clear and detailed defect reports.- Contribute to establishing QA best practices and maintaining high testing standards within Skills & Experience : - Strong understanding of software QA principles, methodologies, and processes.- Hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript for automation testing.- Practical experience in mobile app testing (manual and/or automated).- Good knowledge of frontend testing (UI validation, browser compatibility) and backend testing (APIvalidation, data consistency).- Proficiency in writing test cases, test documentation, and bug reports.- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and tools such as Postman or similar.- Understanding of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving : - A dynamic and challenging work environment with significant growth opportunities.- Competitive salary and benefits package.- Comprehensive medical and accidental coverage for employees and their families.Location - Gurgaon (ref:hirist.tech)
