
Demand Planner Associate

Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning
· Develop rolling 6 months OTB (Sales) plan to balance demand, supply and profitability plans across multiple brands.
· Work closely with individual brand planning teams and finalize target inventory.
· Track weekly/monthly sales and change the forecast plans accordingly in discussion with sales teams/ Planning Head.
· Use the forecasting tool and refine it further for better forecast effectiveness.
· Track, analyse and publish key supply chain metrics such as forecast accuracy, inwards performance, PO adherence, brokenness, DoH etc.
· Support head of planning in design and implementation of new planning tools and dashboards to improve inventory visibility and decision-making.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and improve material availability.
· Coordinate with brands for key seasonal products planning (Winter Wear).
Inventory management
· Track weekly/ monthly inventory flows. Highlights and act to balance the plan vs actual.
· Monitor the PO and ensure its alignment with OTB inventory plans
· Work on current replenishment solution and refine it further for better output
· Analyse/act on the financial impact of current/ future inventory in coordination with planning head.
· Work on slow/non moving inventory reduction across brands
· Implement strategies to reduce the stock outs in coordination with head of planning
· Establish and manage target stock levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts across retail channels.
· Correct regional inventory distribution across warehouses in India
Master data management
· Periodic review of SKU master and correct the anomalies along with Tech Team.
Key Skills
· Exceptionally comfortable with numbers and large data sets. This profile is highly data driven.
· Growth mindset – Willing to learn/ adopt new processes and technology.
· Analytical mindset and ability to translate data/numbers into the actionable insights
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
· Good interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
· Self driven and ability to work with minimal supervision for assigned tasks.
· Highly Proficient in MS Excel.
· Familiarity with any planning tool or ERP systems is plus

· External : Local brand planners
Qualification & Experience
· Minimum B.E./B.Tech (Any stream). MBA in operations/ Supply Chain is plus.
· 3-5 years of experience in FMCG / Manufacturing / Retail planning domain
