Role & responsibilities

Maintain accurate Demand Forecast of portfolio through the application of algorithmic model against sales and knowledge of business strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

Forecasting market demand remains incredibly challenging despite advances in data analytics and the wide variety of technology solutions designed to support the planning processes. No matter how efficient the organization, forecasting demand remains one of the most difficult components of the supply planning process to consistently manage.

An efficient demand planner becomes critical for success in supply chain management.

The skillsets we are looking for :

  • Experience of using large data sets and use analytical models to generate demand, preferably in a retail environment
  • Foundational understanding of statistical forecasting techniques
  • Business Acumen : Beyond the data crunch, understanding the why and the business impact of commercial forecast drivers is a pivotal skill
  • Ability to influence: A demand planner should have the ability to communicate, collaborate and influence decisions and translate business impact to stakeholders
