Senior AWS Platform Engineer Cloud Productivity & Engineering (CPE)

In this role, you&aposll be joining our AWS Platform Engineering team within Cloud Productivity & Engineering (CPE) as a Senior AWS Platform Engineer. This team focuses on building, developing, and supporting our Standardized LSEG AWS cloud platform for the LSEG application and product teams to use. In collaboration with AWS, we strive to transform how LSEG uses the cloud platform. Engage in designing, developing, and building sophisticated cloud platform services and capabilities. Work alongside architects, developers, and other specialists to ensure efficient AWS Enterprise Scale Landing Zone platforms. Active involvement in implementation and decision making areas such as provisioning, automation, ci/cd, networking, virtualization, security, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery and governance and cost optimizations.

Required Skills

- Proven experience in crafting, developing, and implementing cloud and hybrid AWS Platform solutions.
- Can demonstrate deep knowledge in setting up AWS Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and hands on experience with AWSs Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Prior experience in roles such as AWS administration, development, or AWS-focused DevOps.
- Expert knowledge with AWS cloud native components, and eco-systems around AWS Cloud like cloud custodian for policy development, AWS observability and 3rd party integrations
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and CI/CD principles and practices.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, and Gitlab, Scripting languages like Python/Powershell.
- Adept at collaborating in diverse teams, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
