Role Description Pluntra is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our employees and clients. You'll play a key role in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities - Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via email, chat, phone, or in person. - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripheral equipment. - Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software faults. - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within company systems. - Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when needed. - Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, Wi-Fi, and printers. - Document technical procedures, solutions, and support logs. - Assist in onboarding/offboarding of employees, ensuring proper setup of accounts and equipment. - Support cybersecurity protocols and ensure adherence to company IT policies. - Participate in periodic system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance windows. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of professional software engineering or IT support experience. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, C#). - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design. - Experience with modern frameworks, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
