Position Summary Level: Specialist Senior As a Specialist Senior at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions Work you'll do: Lead discussions with business and functional analysts to understand requirements and assess integration impacts on business architecture. Prepare technical architecture and design, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities. Develop solutions in line with established technical designs, integration standards, and quality processes. Create and enforce technical design and development guides, templates, and standards. Facilitate daily scrum meetings, manage deliverables, and prepare weekly status reports for leadership review. Conduct detailed deliverable reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Collaborate with onsite clients, coordinators, analysts, and cross-functional teams. Design templates or scripts to automate routine development or operational tasks. - Enterprise Network Architect Design & Implementation: Lead the design and architecture of enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, Zscaler and Cloud networks, to meet business requirements and objectives. Familiarity with SDN technologies and principles (e.g. SD-WAN, SDDC). - Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging network technologies, products, and solutions to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in network design and performance. - Standards and Best Practices: Define and enforce network architecture standards, best practices, and design principles to ensure consistency, scalability, and security across the network environment. - Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive network solutions that integrate with existing systems, applications, and business processes, aligning with organizational goals and requirements. - Disaster Recovery: Experience with Configuring Disaster Recovery & Failover Mechanisms such as Active-Active or Active-Passive. - Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex networking issues. - Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure designs and processes. - Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers in best practices and advanced GCP concepts. - Providing solutions as per the requirement given in the areas of Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Private Cloud Services etc.), Virtualization, Automation & Datacenter technologies. - Also operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes. - Responsible for meeting expectations and deliverables on time and in high quality. - Responsible for the design and implementation Client project deliverables based on the requirements. - Undergoing Proof of Concepts along with the White paper submission, and are not limited to the documentation of project deliverables, RFP, BOM/BOQ etc. - Utilizes different platforms including Cloud services for enhancement of network architectures - Demonstrates creative, technical, and analytical skills. - Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments. Qualifications Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: - 6 - 10 years of hands-on experience in Data Center Networking, Cloud Networking, Migration, Network Re-design/ Refresh, or relevant fields. - Vast experience in Planning, Architecting, Design, and Implementation in hybrid (On-premises, Public/Private Cloud) environment with Deployment and Migration scope. - Hands-on experience in all Network protocols (Switching & Routing protocols like VLAN, VTP, STP, HSRP/VRRP, LAG, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF, EIGRP, GRE, DMVPN etc.), IPsec, (Site-to-Site) tunnels, Remote SSL VPN, DNS, DHCP, SD-WAN, SDDC, NFV etc. - Hands-on experience in Multi-Vendor OEM Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, (F5-LTM & GTM; Citrix NetScaler), Wireless Controllers and Access Points products. - Experience in Cloud services offered by Amazon Web Services-AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google - Cloud Platform-GCP, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure-OCI with design, build, migration, and deployment skills. - Automation scripts with hands-on experience with development languages (Ansible, Python, Perl, JSON etc.) would be preferable - Strong understanding of Windows, Linux/Unix concepts. - Expertise in Network design topology-HLD & LLD. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries - Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools - Certified as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Networking Specialty, GCP Networking Professional, Azure Networking Associate Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: - Experience in migration of Data Center & Disaster Recovery scope - Experience in Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud etc. - Contribution to design & implementation of Network Architecture projects Education: - BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university Location: - Bengaluru/Hyderabad Our purpose Deloitte's purpose is to make an impact that matters for our people, clients, and communities.
