Primary Responsibilities:
Campus Recruitment
- Business Targets. Translate Relationships into quantifiable business outcomes as defined per individual and team targets. Ability to Farm existing accounts to increase share of wallet and Hunt new accounts to develop relationships with SPJIMR
- Strategic Industry Engagement: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to build and maintain strong, multi-faceted relationships with leading organizations and industry leaders.
- Forge High-Impact Connections: Proactively create and manage a portfolio of corporate engagement opportunities, including securing distinguished guest speakers, sourcing live projects, and establishing robust mentorship programs.
- Career Services & Placements: Lead all aspects of the career services function, guiding students through their career development journey and managing the end-to-end placement process to ensure successful outcomes that meet the highest standards of professional excellence.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring a seamless and valuable relationship with SPJIMR.
- Ecosystem Development: Cultivate a vibrant ecosystem of corporate partners that aligns with the institute's mission and provides a competitive advantage for our students and programs.
Candidate Profile:
- A visionary professional with significant experience in corporate relations, business development, talent acquisition, or career services, preferably within the higher education sector or a related field.
- Possesses a strong, existing network of senior-level contacts across various industries (e.g., technology, finance, consumer goods).
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate industry trends into actionable initiatives.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A deep understanding of the business landscape and the talent needs of modern corporations.
- Travel within the region to meet clients and engage them for campus placement
Education: Any Postgraduate/ MBA or related degree
Experience:
Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in Business development, sales, or relevant role
Experience in customer acquiring and relationship management will also be considered
Skills/Capabilities required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillswith a high degree of professionalism and competence in dealing with a variety of individuals.
- Ability to manageconflicting priorities.
- Key Account Management
- Self-driven and goal oriented
- Demonstrated ability to sell to CXOs
