Job Description L2 Subject Matter Expert - OSS Support We are seeking an experienced L2 Subject Matter Expert in OSS Support to join our team. This role requires extensive experience in multi-vendor Network Management System (NMS) administration within large-scale environments. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing critical infrastructure and applications, ensuring high availability and performance while adhering to stringent incident, change, and problem management processes. Key Responsibilities - Multi-Vendor NMS administration is a primary responsibility, including systems like Nokia Netact, NFM-P&T, Alcatel 5620, 5620 SAM MD, CISCO IOT Service Manager, Ciena NCS/Site Manager, Fortinet FW Manager, Huawei-U2000, Samsung-USM/CMS, and Ericsson-ENM in large-scale environments. - Infrastructure & application issue troubleshooting and resolution are essential. - Application health checks will be performed to ensure high availability and performance. - Bridge joining and active troubleshooting of issues are required, engaging necessary vendors as needed for resolution. - Collaboration with cross-functional teams will enhance observability and monitoring solutions. - Monitoring and managing application backups for recovery is crucial. - Active involvement in ORCA for new projects with or without additional scope is expected. - User role and access control management will be performed, ensuring best practices are followed. - Implementing recommended Technical Support Notes by Nokia Care is a key task. - Regular incident updates with recent information are mandatory. - Handling shift tasks including Incident Management, OSS Monitoring, and Mail Acknowledgement is required. Technical Skill Requirements - Proficiency and certification in Linux administration and troubleshooting are mandatory. - Strong understanding of Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management processes is essential. - Good knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Containers, VMware, Storages, and Databases is required. - Hands-on experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation is necessary. - Key skills in Network Security, TCP/IP, Network Troubleshooting, Security Best Practices, and System Updates are relevant. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail are crucial. - Strong understanding of networking protocols, IoT technologies, and security concepts is essential. General Requirements - Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent. - Notice Period: Immediate - 15 Days. - Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) are required. Preferred Skills - Certifications in relevant areas are often preferred.
