Job Description Description We are seeking a Lead Specialist in Placement for our Insurance and Reinsurance team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the placement of insurance and reinsurance contracts, a deep understanding of the market, and strong negotiation skills. This role will involve leading placements, building relationships with stakeholders, and mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities - Lead the placement of insurance and reinsurance contracts with a focus on maximizing profitability and minimizing risk. - Develop and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and reinsurers to ensure effective communication and service delivery. - Analyze market trends and client needs to create effective placement strategies. - Prepare and present placement submissions to potential reinsurers. - Negotiate terms and conditions of placements to ensure favorable outcomes for the organization. - Monitor the performance of placed contracts and provide insights for future placements. - Collaborate with internal teams to align placement strategies with overall business objectives. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field. - 7-15 years of experience in insurance and reinsurance placement. - Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance markets and products. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to analyze complex data and market trends. - Proficiency in risk assessment and management. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the insurance industry. - Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
