About AppsForBharat Sri Mandir AppsForBharat a series C funded faith-tech startup is backed by India s best venture capital investors including Fundamentum Susquehanna Asia VC Peak XV partners prev Sequoia Capital Elevation Capital BEENEXT Our highly ambitious and audacious team comprises alumni from prestigious institutions like IITs IIMs with extensive experience in scaling high-growth startups We re dedicated to developing mobile and web apps catering to the devotional and spiritual needs of 100s of millions of users across the globe Our flagship product launched in November 2020 is the world s largest app for Hindu devotees It serves as a digital sanctuary for millions of devotees worldwide Our mission is to enrich individuals spiritual lives through innovative technology offering seamless access to sacred pilgrims rituals divine teachings and a vibrant community The overwhelming user love motivates us as we aim to serve 100s of millions more in the coming years Responsibilities Conduct in-depth research within the devotional mythology and spiritual space to create rich meaningful content Lead and manage a team of in-house and freelance content writers editors and content contributors Develop and execute monthly and seasonal editorial calendars aligned with marketing campaigns Plan and oversee the creation of content formats like eBooks infographics quizzes and marketing copy in both English and Hindi Set and maintain quality benchmarks for all published content implement effective editing processes Review and approve articles for cohesiveness originality and alignment with brand voice Ensure all content is SEO-friendly and optimized for engagement across digital platforms Collaborate with design product and marketing teams to align content strategy with business goals Use content analytics and user insights to refine content performance and improve outcomes Manage timelines resource planning and content pipelines for timely publishing Mentor junior writers provide structured feedback and build scalable team processes Requirements 4 years of professional experience in content writing editing preferably in digital publishing or devotional spiritual domains Strong leadership and team management skills - ability to guide mentor and grow a content team Exceptional writing editing and proofreading skills in both English and Hindi Deep interest in Indian culture mythology and spirituality Experience in setting up scalable content operations and workflows Strong understanding of SEO content analytics and content performance tools Highly process-oriented self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment
