Job Description

As a Warehouse Executive, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate management of daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, dispatching goods, and managing inventory. You will ensure smooth operations, adherence to safety protocols, and proper documentation, working closely with the warehouse manager and other teams to meet operational targets.

Responsibilities

- Receiving and Inwarding:
- Oversee the receiving of incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders and inspecting for damages.
- Ensure accurate recording of all inbound materials in the inventory management system.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for smooth deliveries.
- Storage and Inventory Management:
- Organize and manage warehouse space efficiently, ensuring optimal storage conditions for all products.
- Implement proper material handling procedures to prevent damage and loss.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records; investigate and report discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all stored items.
- Order Fulfillment (Picking & Packing):
- Supervise and participate in the accurate picking of orders based on sales orders or dispatch plans.
- Ensure proper packing of goods to prevent damage during transit, adhering to packaging standards.
- Verify packed orders against dispatch lists for accuracy and completeness.
- Dispatch and Outwarding:
- Coordinate and oversee the loading of goods for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Prepare all necessary dispatch documentation (e.g., invoices, delivery challans, E-way bills).
- Liaise with logistics partners and transporters for efficient outbound movement of goods.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all warehouse activities, including inwarding, outwarding, stock movements, and inventory adjustments.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and dispatch status.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP for all operations.
- Safety and Housekeeping:
- Ensure strict adherence to all warehouse safety policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
- Team Coordination:
- Coordinate and supervise warehouse staff (loaders, packers) to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, procurement, production, and logistics teams.
