Job family Project Site Management Business area Hydropower Contract location Mandideep MP IN Working location Mandideep Location type Office Location Office-based Contract type Permanent Job description Every day ANDRITZ continues to deliver successful innovative solutions to our customers globally Why are we so successful Because we are passionate and love what we do We are at the forefront of future engineering technologies with solutions that ensure the success of our clients in key industries that are shaping the future of the world we live in General Description Under the general direction of the Plant Head the incumbent is responsible for maintenance and troubleshoot of Powerhouse Hydraulics Pneumatics equipments etc of a Pumped Storage Hydro Power Plant The candidate must also support for maintenance and troubleshoot of Cooling Water System Centrifugal Pump Drainage Dewatering System etc The ideal candidate will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that they are both safe and operating efficiently This candidate will be comfortable managing a team if required and conducting analysis to highlight areas for improvement Thie ideal candidate should have experience in Operation Maintenance of Hydro Power Pumped Storage Projects of atleast 100 MW capacity The candidate should be experience in maintenance and troubleshoot of Hydraulics Pneumatics Equipments in Hydro Power Pumped Storage Projects of atleast 100 MW capacity WHAT YOU LL DO Write the purpose for which the job exists Prepare detailed resources for each activity of Powerhouse Hydraulics Pneumatics Both High Pressure - 90 bar Low Pressure - 12 bar Compressed Air System equipments MBoP like Cooling Water System Drainage Dewatering System etc within the limits and reasonable backup prepare the division of work among the group of supervisors Prepare risk assessment and action plan for every activity of maintenance of above mentioned system get confirmed by EHS representative and review Execution for annual monthly and daily the detailed resources of each activity for the maintenance of above mentioned system of the plant Timely completion of planned maintenance activities Carry out condition-based monitoring of equipment and plan maintenance accordingly Planning of critical spares for ensuring 100 machine availability Troubleshooting of breakdown by carrying out root cause analysis and take corrective preventive action accordingly Coordinate with various department within ANDRITZ for resolving issues related to Power plant Coordinate with vendors OEMs for getting offers of spares and expert services Conduct technical behavioral safety trainings for client sub-contractors technicians etc Preparation of SOPs and Local Operating procedures for the assigned systems Plans and coordinates plant maintenance and inventory requirements as required to maximize plant availability and optimize cost effectiveness Prepares and maintains accurate plant documentation maintenance checklist observation sheet preventive maintenance plan etc to assure proper historical records and reporting of plant maintenance is completed Preparation and review of root cause analysis reports tripping report annual maintenance report monthly MIS etc Manage a work force that is motivated flexible in skills cross-trained and technically astute ensuring an effective and motivated team YOU RE GOOD AT Write the details of the core area of expertise required to possess by the candidate Erection commissioning installation maintenance of Hydraulics Pneumatics Pumps Compressors including all the equipments and mountings Knowledge about working and maintenance of different type of hydraulics pumps hydraulic valve proportionate valves servomotors high pressure hydraulic system handling etc Knowledge about working and maintenance of different type of pneumatic pumps air compressors valve low pressure air system high pressure system handling Knowledge of working philosophy of hydraulic circuits and pneumatic circuit nomenclatures symbols Knowledge of working philosophy of Water Depression System Head Cover Air Admission System will be an added advantage Knowledge of erection maintenance procedure of Turbine Francis and Pelton its auxiliaries installation and alignment of fluid film bearing will be an added advantage Experienced with use of Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Excel Word Power Point etc Demonstrated leadership competent oral and written communication skills are required Knowledge and the ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings Requires wearing personal protective safety equipment respirators safety glasses hard hat appropriate footwear ear plugs etc Incumbent must adhere to established policies and procedures YOU BRING Experience Qualifications Provide information about knowledge required to delve into this role Minimum Qualification Regular B E B Tech in Mechanical Engineering Automobile Engineering from reputed government private autonomous institiute recognised under AICTE New Delhi Overall 08 - 12 years of experience in an industriy out of which a minimum 03 - 05 years of experience in maintenance of hydraulics equipments of a hydro power plant of not less than 100 MW capacity Should have experience of erection commissioning installation maintenance in any steel power process industry Adept at managing maintenance of various equipments for reducing downtime and enhancing operational effectiveness of equipment PREFERRED Information about the knowledge required for the job which is not mandatory to possess Microsot office tool YOU LL WORK WITH Provide details pertaining to the reporting structure Direct Indirect Reporting will be Direct -
