An IATA-certified travel agency since February 2022, Explera operates seven branches across India and continues to expand every year. The company provides end-to-end travel services including itinerary planning, ticketing, hotel bookings, visa facilitation, excursions, safaris, and curated experiences combining global expertise with strong local insights. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Surat office. The Senior Ticketing Executive will be responsible for handling end-to-end ticketing operations using Amadeus GDS, ensuring accurate bookings, smooth reservation management, and premium customer service. The candidate must be highly skilled in fare rules, reissues, refunds, itinerary building, and accurate ticketing processes. Key Responsblity - Manage international and domestic flight bookings using Amadeus (mandatory). - Issue, reissue, revalidate, and process refunds as per airline guidelines. - Manage fare searches, fare rules, fare calculations, and seat allocations. - Prepare and verify PNRs, queues, SSR, OSI, and other GDS functions. - Ensure accurate issuance of tickets, EMDs, and ancillary services. - Handle customer inquiries professionally with fast turnaround times. - Provide accurate travel information, routing suggestions, and itinerary planning. - Resolve booking issues, flight disruptions, and schedule changes. - Maintain relationships with corporate and retail clients to support repeat business. - Coordinate with airlines for fare disputes, waiver requests, and ticketing authorisations. - Maintain proper documentation and follow company SOPs. - Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume ticketing environment. Qualifications - Minimum 4+ years of experience in airline ticketing (mandatory). - Expert-level knowledge of Amadeus GDS and strong mastery in CRS/GDS systems. - In-depth understanding of airfare rules, ticketing processes, and airline policies. - Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset. - Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines. - Experience in the travel industry is highly desirable. - Certification in Amadeus/GDS will be an added advantage.
