Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager for our digital marketing agency, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities to fuel the agency&aposs growth. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and initiatives that align with the agency&aposs objectives. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new clients, building relationships, and driving revenue through effective business development strategies.
Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential clients and industries to generate new business opportunities.
Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by actively prospecting and qualifying leads.
Develop and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing campaigns and strategies to attract new clients.
Negotiate and close deals, including contract negotiations and pricing agreements.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the digital marketing industry.
Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and seamless project handover.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the digital marketing industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services, strategies, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to identify market opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track leads.
- Bachelor&aposs degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
