the progress of global aerospace About the role We are seeking a security-conscious and process-oriented Experienced Salesforce Release Security Risk Specialist to join our team You will play a critical role in ensuring the secure and efficient release of Salesforce configurations while mitigating risks within the platform Position Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end release management process utilizing the Copado platform Leverage Copado DevOps tools to streamline release management processes for Salesforce configurations and customizations across environments Plan coordinate and execute Salesforce releases including deployment planning sandbox management and post-deployment validation Packaging the implementation of releases merging with upstream work resolving conflicts coordinating tasks with the development team with Copado Configure and manage user profiles roles permissions sharing settings workflows and validation rules Monitor system health and performance troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance tasks Keep up to date with Salesforce releases features and best practices to maximize platform potential Design and implement robust access control configurations in Salesforce adhering to security best practices and compliance regulations e g SOC 2 HIPAA Conduct security risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities within the Salesforce platform Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities and ensure platform security Document access control configurations release management procedures and risk mitigation strategies for future reference and knowledge transfer Partners with architecture and policy decision-makers to define and enforce security policies standards and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security requirements Evaluate and recommend security tools technologies and services that enhance organization-wide security posture Collaborates with stakeholders software architects and product teams to design and implement security solutions systems across multiple platforms and products Basic Qualifications Required Skills Experience 8-12 years of Experience with 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration or development 3 years of experience configuring access controls in Salesforce Experience with Copado or a similar DevOps tool for Salesforce release management Experience with security risk assessments in a cloud environment Optional Salesforce Capado certification Salesforce Certified Admin certification Preferred Qualifications Desired Skills Experience Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience Proven experience configuring access controls in Salesforce including Profiles Permission Sets Sharing Rules and Field-Level Security Strong understanding of Salesforce security best practices and compliance regulations Experience with Copado or similar DevOps tools for Salesforce release management Working knowledge of security risk assessment methodologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with Salesforce data encryption and security features Experience integrating Salesforce with Single Sign-On SSO solutions Experience with security automation tools in Salesforce Typical Education Experience Bachelor s degree and typically 9 or more years of related work experience or a Master s degree with typically 8 or more years of related work experience or a Ph D degree or an equivalent combination of
