Position: Sales Officer – Institutional Sales
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive institutional sales by visiting companies, corporate offices, commercial establishments, NGOs and other institutions to generate leads and secure daily snack supply and bulk orders for the events.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business for events, festivals, and special occasions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by proactively developing new business opportunities.
- Conduct product presentations, sampling, and promotional activities with potential clients.
- Track customer requirements, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and update management on market trends and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for seamless order execution and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Institutional / B2B Sales, preferably in the Food & Beverages, Hospitality, or FMCG sector.
- Excellent communication skills in English & Tamil.
- Strong network with corporates, institutions, and event managers in Chennai.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and manage client expectations.
- Self-motivated, dynamic, and customer-focused professional.
