Job Description

Essential Functions of the Job:

Responsible for airfreight administration, resolution of Supplier payment exceptions and conducts document verification to ensure Supplier compliance with standard operating procedures and to drive continuous service improvements

Drives efficient container utilization, improve on-time shipment and arrivals, special program implementation and tracking.

Support supplier development activities

Supports management in workload planning, allocation and productivity improvements

Executes logistics business plans and projects

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Global Logistics and applies it to daily routines

Supports Global Logistics principles on capacity, service and EDLC

Provides management visibility on key metrics, shipment data, and corresponding analysis

Lives up to company cultures and standards of ethics

Specific Duties and Accountabilities of the Job:

Handles daily document verification for assigned retail markets

Supports development and maintenance of standard operating procedures

Handles daily operations and exceptions (e.g. container utilization, documentation management, airfreight administration, supplier payment) to ensure productivity, quality and compliance with standard operating procedures and shipping guidelines

Drives supplier performance to ensure compliance

Handles air freight origin administrations

Prepares and provides accurate reporting on key metrics

Conducts business analysis and reports the findings to management

Supports management in workload planning, allocation and productivity improvementsHandles ad hoc assignments and projects

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:

Proven competence on execution / planning / analysis etc.

Good knowledge of supply chain logistics and related fields

Good communication and presentation skills in English

High sense of urgency and responsibility

High standards in personal and professional integrity

Project management experienceProficient in use of Microsoft Office applications

Education:

Bachelors Degree in International Business, Logistics / Supply

Chain or related field preferred

Experience:

5-7 years of experience in International business, shipping, logistics, or supply chain industry
