As one of India's leading ice cream brands, the company boasts a production capacity of 2 lakh liters per day, with state-of-the-art plants located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and Durg, Chhattisgarh. Ramani Ice-cream Co. Ltd. is ISO 9000/22000 certified and adheres to international product quality standards under the Food Safety Management System by IQNet and Quality Austria. The company offers a diverse range of products, including ice creams, bakery, and dairy goods, and has built a robust distribution network across eight states with 20,000 retailers, 205 distributors, and approximately 600 exclusive parlors. Role Description We are looking for a Production Manager for a full-time on-site role located in Bhopal. The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing production schedules to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. Key responsibilities include managing production teams, maintaining high standards of product quality, monitoring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, optimizing production processes, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The role involves collaboration with other departments to meet production goals and continuous improvement in efficiency and quality. Qualifications - Proven experience in production management, with expertise in process optimization and quality assurance. - Strong skills in team management, leadership, and employee training to maintain a motivated and productive workforce. - Knowledge of health, safety, and food safety regulations, with experience in ISO 9000/22000 certifications being a strong advantage. - Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively. - Proficiency in inventory management, production planning, and cost control procedures. - Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Food Science, or related discipline is preferred. - Experience in the FMCG or food industry is highly desirable.
