We are having an urgent opening for the position of Cutting In charge for a reputed company in Manufacturing Safety Products Industry at Kolkata Location The Company is looking for a Cutting In charge to oversee the cutting operations within the Footwear Production Department The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in the footwear cutting department and be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining high-quality standards Key Responsibilities Control on Cutting Department Supervise the daily operations of the cutting department ensuring smooth workflow and coordination with other departments Follow Production Plan Ensure adherence to the production plan to achieve maximum output meeting daily targets and timelines Control on Rejections Monitor and reduce rejections ensuring that cut components meet the required quality standards before passing them to fabricators Inventory Management Maintain an organized inventory of cut components and manage the issuance of components to fabricators maintaining a target of 12 000 pairs per day Maintenance of Cutting Dies Ensure the cutting dies are well-maintained and available for production minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient operations Candidates Profile Educational Qualification Graduate with experience in the Footwear Cutting Department Experience 1-2 years of experience in managing or working within a cutting department in the footwear industry Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage inventories and production schedules effectively
