Job Description Manager Hydraulics (R&D) Location: Unit2, Karnal Department: Research & Development (R&D) Reporting To: Head of Department About the Role We are looking for an experienced Manager Hydraulics to join our R&D team. The role involves end-to-end hydraulic system design for Combine Harvesters, component selection, integration, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities - Lead hydraulic design activities within R&D. - Design and reverse engineer hydraulic aggregates for Combine Harvesters. - Select hydraulic components based on application and required specifications. - Perform closed-loop calculations and other design calculations. - Develop functional mock-ups, proto builds, pre-series, and SOP support. - Generate BOM, raise purchase requests, and support proto shop during builds. - Collaborate with testing team to provide inputs and review results. - Work closely with different aggregate owners for seamless vehicle integration. Mandatory Skills & Experience - 810 years of relevant experience in Hydraulics Design. - Strong knowledge of: - Hydraulic component selection, schematics, routing, flow calculations, etc. - Vehicle-level integration of hydraulic systems. - Proficiency in 3D modelling (SolidWorks preferred), detailing, and GD&T. - Understanding of sheet metal, casting, forging materials and application-based material selection. - Ability to coordinate across teams and drive tasks independently. Qualifications - B. Tech / M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering Desirable Attributes - Innovative and proactive working style. - Strong technical command in Hydraulics. - Excellent academic and professional track record. - Adaptability to challenging and dynamic project environments.
