Introduction We are looking for a skilled and experienced Biryani & Chinese Chef who can prepare various types of biryani (veg and non-veg) and authentic Chinese dishes. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cooking, creative in flavors, and able to deliver delicious, hygienic, and well-presented food within given timelines. This role requires expertise in traditional and modern cooking techniques, kitchen management, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and taste consistently.Key Responsibilities1. Biryani Preparation Cook different varieties of veg and non-veg biryanis, including: Hyderabadi Dum Biryani Lucknowi Biryani Kolkata Biryani Malabar Biryani Egg Biryani Veg Biryani & Pulao Ensure proper use of spices, herbs, and cooking techniques to achieve authentic taste. Maintain portion control, consistency, and presentation.2. Chinese Cuisine Preparation Prepare a wide range of Chinese dishes, including: Fried Rice, Noodles, and Schezwan Rice Manchurian (Veg & Non-Veg) Chilli Chicken, Chilli Paneer, and Chilli Fish Spring Rolls, Momos, and Soups Hakka Noodles and Chopsuey Maintain proper flavors, textures, and authenticity in dishes. Innovate and introduce new fusion recipes when required.3. Kitchen & Inventory Management Manage raw materials, ingredients, and kitchen stock efficiently. Ensure freshness, quality, and hygiene of all ingredients. Monitor food wastage and maintain cost-effective cooking. Assist in menu planning and cost calculations for dishes.4. Quality, Hygiene & Safety Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Follow FSSAI, HACCP, and food safety guidelines. Maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients. Ensure all food is cooked and served at safe temperatures.5. Teamwork & Coordination Coordinate with kitchen staff, helpers, and waiters for smooth operations. Assist in training junior cooks and kitchen assistants. Communicate with the restaurant manager to manage timely orders and bulk bookings.Technical Skills Expertise in different biryani styles (veg & non-veg). Proficiency in authentic Chinese cooking techniques (stir-frying, steaming, sautéing, etc.). Ability to balance spices, sauces, and flavors effectively. Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking tools. Soft Skills Passion for cooking and creativity in recipes. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders. Good time management to deliver food within deadlines.
