A Business Development Executive (BDE) is a strategic role focused on driving revenue growth and market expansion for a company. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify potential clients through research, networking, cold calling, and online platforms. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads. Use CRM tools to track leads and maintain communication records. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to meet prospects. Client Relationship Management Understand client requirements, business goals, and challenges. Build long-term professional relationships based on trust and value delivery. Provide solutions tailored to the client’s needs and ensure a positive customer experience. Maintain regular communication with existing clients to encourage repeat business. Sales & Revenue Growth Present and demonstrate products or services to potential clients. Develop proposals, quotations, and business presentations. Negotiate terms and close deals effectively. Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Upsell and cross-sell products/services to maximize revenue. Market Research & Analysis Study market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Provide insights to management for business planning and strategy development. Identify new business opportunities in untapped markets. Analyze sales data and prepare performance reports. Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with marketing teams to run campaigns for lead generation. Coordinate with operations, finance, and product teams for smooth onboarding of clients. Share client feedback with internal teams for continuous product/service improvement. Support senior management in developing strategies to expand market presence. Post-Sales Support Ensure timely follow-up after closing deals. Address client concerns and escalate issues when necessary. Help clients with onboarding processes, documentation, and payment coordination. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction to generate referrals. Skills & Competencies Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with clients. Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a proactive approach. Analytical mindset to understand market dynamics and customer behavior. Good organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital platforms.
