Speciality Chemicals: The Specialty Chemical business of Jubilant Ingrevia manufactures Pyridine, Picolines and its forward integration derivatives, which finds application in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes, solvents, metal finishes, fine chemicals, semiconductors etc.

We have also launched new platform of Diketene & its value-added derivatives for multiple industry use. We are an established partner of choice in CDMO, with more investment plans in GMP & Non-GMP multi-product facilities for Pharma, Agro and Semi-conductor customers.

Chemical Intermediates: The Chemical Intermediates business has acetic anhydride and value-added anhydrides and aldehydes catering to various industries.

Nutrition & Health Solutions: The Nutrition & Heath Solutions business unit offers B3 & Picolinates (Chromium & Zinc) which are fully backward integrated. Our ingredients find application in animal nutrition, human nutrition, personal care, etc. We provide high-quality feed & food additives having application in poultry, dairy, aqua & pet food industry. In Human Nutrition & Health Solutions, we offer food ingredients & premix solutions to nutrition.

Key Responsibilities :

Job Summary:

A seasoned procurement leader responsible for overseeing strategic sourcing, supplier development, and procurement operations for fine chemicals, animal nutrition ingredients, and human nutrition products. This role drives cost optimization, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports innovation and sustainability across global supply chains.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Category Management

- Lead global sourcing strategies for fine chemicals, feed additives, nutraceuticals, and functional ingredients.
- Develop category plans aligned with business goals, market trends, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Champion supplier innovation and co-development initiatives to support R&D and product pipeline.

Supplier Development & Risk Management

- Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships across geographies.
- Conduct supplier audits, performance reviews, and risk assessments.
- Ensure business continuity through dual sourcing, buffer strategies, and geopolitical risk analysis.

Operational Excellence

- Oversee procurement operations including RFQs, PO management, and contract execution.
- Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, QA/QC, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless supply.
- Drive digital transformation in procurement through ERP optimization and analytics tools.

Compliance & Sustainability

- Ensure adherence to global regulatory standards (REACH, FSSAI, EFSA, FDA, GMP, FAMI-QS).
- Maintain documentation for traceability, quality assurance, and audit readiness.
- Promote sustainable sourcing practices and supplier ESG compliance.

Financial Stewardship

- Deliver year-on-year cost savings through strategic negotiations and supplier consolidation.
- Lead budgeting, spend analysis, and cost forecasting for assigned categories.
- Present procurement performance metrics to executive leadership.

The Person

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelors/Masters in Chemistry, Food Technology, Animal Nutrition, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Certifications: CPSM, CSCP, CIPS, or equivalent.

Experience:

- 15+ years in procurement and supply chain roles, with deep expertise in fine chemicals and nutrition categories.
- Proven track record in global sourcing, supplier development, and cross-functional leadership.

Functional Skills:

- Advanced negotiation, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and quality systems.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau), and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and change management capabilities.
