Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and responsible Field Supervisor to support operational supervision at various petrol pump locations across Chennai and surrounding regions. The candidate will be working as part of an associate company of major petroleum brands, ensuring compliance, reporting, customer service, and general oversight at the retail fuel outlets.This is a field-intensive role and requires candidates to travel daily using their own two-wheeler. Fuel allowance and other travel expenses will be reimbursed as per company policy. The role is ideal for individuals who are disciplined, observant, and proactive in maintaining operational standards at the ground level.Key Responsibilities:1. Petrol Pump Supervision:Visit assigned petrol pumps daily or as per route plan.Check and report on fuel dispensing operations, hygiene, safety measures, and compliance.Monitor employee behavior, uniform, service standards, and adherence to protocols.Ensure display boards, price indicators, and safety equipment are maintained as per guidelines.2. Reporting & Documentation:Fill structured checklists or digital reports for each site visit.Report any operational issues, customer complaints, or supply delays to the central office.Capture photos or short videos (if required) for audits or compliance checks.Maintain a daily activity log with location and time details.3. Coordination & Communication:Interact with pump managers and staff to address any minor operational issues.Explain new company policies or instructions from petroleum companies.Help coordinate between pump operators and company management.4. Customer Service Oversight:Ensure the pump staff is following proper etiquette with customers.Monitor transaction behavior (fuel quantity, billing) and raise flags for suspected malpractice.Take feedback from customers (if instructed) and pass to the head office.5. Basic Technical Checks:Ensure equipment (dispensers, nozzles, meters) is clean and functioning.Report any leaks, malfunctions, or unsafe storage conditions immediately.Check usage and availability of fire extinguishers and emergency tools.6.
