The caf offers a vibrant menu, a carefully curated selection of fine teas, and exceptional espresso. It is a unique venue where culinary excellence meets literary charm, providing customers with a memorable experience. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pastry Chef located in Chennai. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing baked goods and pastries, crafting and executing creative recipes, and ensuring high-quality food presentation. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations, and contributing to the creation of a delightful and welcoming atmosphere in the caf. Qualifications - Expertise in Bakery and Baking techniques, including the preparation of cakes, pastries, and similar items - Proficiency in Food Preparation and Culinary Skills, with a focus on high-quality ingredient handling - Experience in Cooking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and creativity in developing new pastry recipes - Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with the caf team - Relevant certifications in culinary arts or related fields are preferred - Previous experience in a similar role within a caf or bakery setting is advantageous
