Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage software development projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with proven experience in Agile project management, capable of defining scope, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Define project scope and schedule, focusing on the regular and timely delivery of value.
- Organize and lead project status and working meetings, preparing and distributing progress reports to stakeholders.
- Manage risks and issues, and correct any deviations from project plans.
- Assist in team development by holding teams accountable for commitments, removing roadblocks, and mentoring team members.
- Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations and implementing effective project governance.
- Define and manage a well-defined project management process, championing ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Promote team empowerment, ensuring each member is engaged and contributing meaningfully.
- Oversee all aspects of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
- Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

Skills Required

- A minimum of 5+ years of working experience in project management.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile Project Management, with experience using tools such as Jira/Trello.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project and Visio.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
- The ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.
- A balanced business/technical background that enables credible leadership for development teams and the accurate evaluation of complex project risks.
- Proven ability to collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
