Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced

SAP HANA Database Administrator

with around 6 years of proven expertise in managing, monitoring, and optimizing SAP HANA environments. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HANA installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and HA/DR setups, with the ability to support mission-critical enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and administer SAP HANA databases in production and non-production environments.
Perform upgrades, patching, migrations, and system refresh activities.
Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and troubleshoot issues.
Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
Carry out regular backup and restore operations, ensuring data security and compliance.
Work closely with SAP BASIS, application, and infrastructure teams for smooth operations.
Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, and provide tuning recommendations.
Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and health check reports.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
Mandatory Skills
5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP HANA DBA.
Expertise in installation, configuration, upgrades, and administration of SAP HANA.
Strong knowledge of backup & recovery procedures, HA/DR concepts, and system refresh.
Performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
