Role : SAP Basis Consultant with S4 HanaLocation : RemoteShift :Rotational Shifts: ( 2:00 PM IST - 11:00 PM IST / 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM IST/ 10:00 PM IST - 6:00 AM IST )Notice Period : Max 15 DaysPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experiencedSAP HANA / Basis Consultantwith strong expertise in HANA administration, database optimization, and system replication. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP HANA sidecar environments, performance tuning, user security management, and cloud integration (AWS/BTP).Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and supportSAP HANA databases(single-tenant and multi-tenant).Manage and monitorHANA sidecar environmentsfor reporting and analytics.Configure and maintainHANA System Replication (HSR)including synchronous/asynchronous modes.Performdatabase tuning and optimization(memory, CPU, SQL statements, partitioning, indexing).Define and manageHANA parameters(global allocation, CPU/memory, statement limits).Implementuser security and restrictions(roles, object privileges, analytic privileges, quotas).SupportABAP memory managementconcepts for system efficiency.Administer and troubleshootother DB platforms(DB2, Sybase) when required.Integrate and extend SAP systems withSAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) .SupportHANA on AWS Cloud , including sizing, monitoring, and backup/restore strategies.Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensurehigh availability, performance, and security .Required Skills & Experience6+ years of experience inSAP Basis / HANA Administration .Hands-on experience inHANA sidecar environmentsandreal-time replication (SLT/BODS) .Expertise inHANA HSR replication modesand HA/DR setup.Strong knowledge ofHANA parameters ,CPU/memory optimization , and troubleshooting.Solid understanding ofABAP memory concepts .Working knowledge ofDB2 or Sybase ASE .Experience withSAP BTP(subaccounts, role collections, HANA Cloud DB).Exposure toAWS Cloud (HANA deployment, EC2, EBS, HA setup) .Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, andsecurity implementationskills.Preferred QualificationsSAP HANA Certified Technology Associate.Experience withmulti-tenant database containers (MDC) .Knowledge ofSAP S/4HANA migrations and upgrades .Familiarity withautomation and monitoring tools .The SAP BASIS Administrator is responsible for the technical management, maintenance, and optimization of SAP environments, with a focus on S/4 HANA upgrades, HANA database administration, and SAP RISE cloud solutions. This role ensures system reliability, performance, and security while supporting both on-premise and cloud-based SAP landscapes.Must have exp. In :Experience working on HANA Sidecar Environment (Secondary as HANA (reporting/Analytics data replicated from ECC as primary)HANA HSR (replication) experienceHANA Replication modesHANA ParametersCPU parameters set upABAP Memory conceptsExp.in any database, Sybase ExperienceAWS CloudOptimization techniques on HANA db.How to set user level restrictions on HANA DB tables.
