Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Hana Migration Consultant to lead and support system migrations across various SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, system upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and HANA/S/4HANA migrations using tools like SAP SWPM, SUM, and DMO.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute SAP system migrations including OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions, and SAP HANA/S/4HANA migrations.
  • Perform system installations, upgrades, and post-migration activities using SAP tools (SWPM, SUM, DMO).
  • Collaborate with SAP functional and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless migration.
  • Perform system copies, client copies, backups/restores, and tuning activities.
  • Manage SAP kernel upgrades, support package applications, and system refreshes.
  • Troubleshoot Basis-related issues during and after migration.
  • Document all migration processes and changes.

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of SAP Basis experience with at least 2 end-to-end SAP system migration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and S/4HANA architecture.
  • Hands-on with SAP Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM), Software Update Manager (SUM), Database Migration Option (DMO).
  • Experience with OS/DB migrations and Unicode conversions.
  • Proficiency in managing SAP systems on Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with database platforms: SAP HANA, Oracle, MS SQL, or DB2.
  • Exposure to cloud-based migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
