About the Role
UpMan Placements is looking for a results-driven and client-focusedKey Account Managerto drive business development and manage strategic client relationships in theIT recruitment sector. This is a senior-level role requiring a deep understanding of the IT industry and a consultative approach to client servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new clients in the IT sector through proactive business development.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing key accounts to ensure client retention and growth.
- Collect hiring requirements from clients and coordinate with the internal recruitment/delivery team for timely fulfillment.
- Share client feedback with the recruitment team to improve service quality and responsiveness.
- Negotiate and manage contract renewals and pricing agreements, ensuring win-win outcomes.
- Monitor industry trends and anticipate changes in client needs, providing tailored recruitment solutions.
- Maintain updated client records, pipelines, and communication logs through CRM and internal systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 6 years of experience in key account/client servicing roles, ideally in IT staffing or recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of the IT industry, technologies, and current hiring trends.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Proven track record in managing large clients and delivering business growth.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and recruitment management software.
- Willing to travel for client meetings and business expansion as needed.
