Summary Illumina is seeking a Sr Programmer Analyst for EtQ responsible for the build implementation and support of Illuminas QMS Solutions and Platform The role will be responsible for working with EtQ Reliance including the EtQ Modules and related systems and its integration with other enterprise systems Responsibilities include leading ETQ Reliance development implementing solution s gathering technical requirements testing and recommending best practice methods Basic Function and Scope of the Position This role functions as a Sr Programmer and is responsible for reviewing analyzing planning developing testing and documenting within the ETQ Reliance and EtQ Reliance Cloud Portal applications All About YouResponsibilities The individual will lead development on the existing ETQ Reliance and EtQ Reliance Cloud Portal platform Lead development on existing and new forms workflows views escalations integrations to other enterprise systems on the ETQ Reliance platform The induvial will work closely with the business analyst s to develop and refine business and technical requirements to support the end vision for the business process The individual will work closely with the software vendor to execute annual upgrades as well as to install periodic patches as they are required The individual will work cross functionally with other IT teams as needed to support the host application server and database Modifications and new features will require this individual to write new script and or modify existing script within the ETQ Reliance platform Participate in all areas of system implementation life cycles Ensure the host application server and JAVA are maintained to support the on prem implement of the system through the system lifecycle Able to Manage multiple priorities and successfully completes multiple projects with minimal supervision from the manager Accountable to ensure the solution meets the agreed upon business requirements while creatively leveraging standard capabilities where possible All listed responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position however business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilities Requirements 3-5 years experience developing on the ETQ Reliance platform Advanced knowledge of Python Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL Knowledge of database backup recovery and refresh practices and relational database structure Knowledge of Tomcat server and JAVA Knowledge of Windows Server and ability to maintain the server as required to support application architecture Familiarity with Quality Management System business processes Experience addressing support tickets Service NOW experience a plus Ability to investigate into systems issues and problem solve complex tickets Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well with team members Expertise in requirements gathering writing software requirements Experience with requirement management testing in FDA regulated environment Demonstrated experience in testing and test planning Driven self-motivated individual Knowledge of the full software development life cycle using Agile Scrum Methodology Excellent verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand Education BS BA in Business Administration or related field Experience Education Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree or 3 years and a Masters degree or a PhD without experience or equivalent
