About the Role
The Export Manager will be responsible for driving export sales and business development, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Export Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales in international markets.
- Identify and onboard new distributors, agents, and clients globally.
- Market Research & Expansion:
- Conduct research to identify new market opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Client Management:
- Maintain and grow relationships with international clients.
- Address client inquiries, complaints, and provide post-sales support.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Oversee export documentation, including invoices, LC, and certificates.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Coordination:
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping agents for smooth operations.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
- Analyze sales performance and suggest improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: MBA/PGDM in International Business.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in export sales, preferably in the foodservice or FMCG industry. Proven track record of driving export growth.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of export documentation, international trade regulations, and INCOTERMS.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in managing international client relationships.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
