looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical FP A Senior Analyst to join our finance team The primary responsibility of this role is to support the company s financial planning and analysis activities focusing on P L and balance sheet analysis The ideal candidate should have experience working with financial reporting systems strong financial modeling skills a solid understanding of accounting principles and excellent communication abilities Responsibilities Analyze and interpret income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements to identify trends patterns and key financial indicators Identify and research variances to forecast budget and prior-year expenses proactively identifying opportunities for improvement Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights Perform financial planning and analysis activities including P L and balance sheet and Cashflow analysis to support business decision-making processes Participate in ad hoc financial analysis special projects and initiatives as required Prepare and present comprehensive and accurate financial reports forecasts and budgets highlighting key findings insights and recommendations Stay updated on industry and market trends economic factors and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance and provide insights for decision-making Understand the business processes and utilize it to solve problems effectively Provide alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality Maintain high standards of customer service to finance teams globally Utilize financial systems to collect evaluate and manipulate financial data for the purpose of reporting and analysis Having familiarity with Hyperion Tableau OneStream or PeopleSoft is a beneficial skill set Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide accurate financial insights and recommendations Assist in the development and enhancement of financial models tools and forecasting processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budgeted forecasted results Sound like you To apply you need to be A Chartered Accountant or Masters in finance or a related field 5-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar role Strong financial and analytical skills with an advanced understanding of the financial planning process Experience in Oracle Planning Cloud specifically EPBCS is a beneficial skill Having advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications like PeopleSoft OneStream and Tableau is advantageous Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Understanding of budgeting and forecasting best practices Experience with financial statements including income statements balance sheets and cash flow Self-motivated confident and energetic Proactive and able to work with remote oversight demonstrating
