(Urgent) Senior Manager

Purpose of the RoleThis role exists to develop vehicle sub-modules of a given Project to ensure delivery as per agreed program timelines cost and quality standards within the agreed project scope This role leads the vehicle module team VMT consisting of core members from AQ Purchase Cost Engineering and representatives of other functions as required This role involves Technical project management from concept stage to production for E E Modules Sub-Modules Job ResponsibilityDesign Develop the Module aggregates together with SMTEs inline with laid down design guidelines processes Create and maintain the PMXU of the module for a given platform Ensure through SMTEs that the Development timelines of Modules are aligned to the program milestones Track and review periodically with SMTEs and suppliers Coordinate and influence Internal as well as external stakeholders for deliveries as per NPI timeplan Internal stakeholders include COC Labcar launch team principle engineers etc External Stakeholders include APC Advance Product Team Styling VIG Vehicle integration Team Product Line PAT Performance attribute teams manufacturing Technical Service Customer Support AQ and Vendors Manage project cadence and ensure transparent communication and escalation through the weekly VMT meetings Ensure closure of MINT BITS RDMVV issues along with VMT members Enable PLM releases of the modules aligned to DR Gateways Ensure Hardware and Software availability for Test benches and vehicle builds through the VMT Plan support the prototype vehicle build for establishing the validation reliability of E E aggregates systems Ensure the monthly monitoring of the engineering budget at the module level Evaluate and ensure implementation of VAVE ideas Ensure through the diagnostics SMTEs and tool developers that the End of Line tool is delivered for Beta Batch onwards and Zero EOL issues are seen in PO PP SOP Desired Candidate ProfileEducation Qualification Graduate Post graduate in Electrical Electronics Instrumentation Engineering Experience 7-10 years Experience of Project management Demonstrable experience of budget handling and target management Ability to interface and communicate at all levels Good knowledge of software releases and PLM system Experience of automotive electricals and electronics development Exposure to Infotainment or Cluster system development would be an added advantage Experience in design and development of one or more of above specified E E aggregates systems Knowledge of automotive electronic control systems - Functional design aspects application integration Understanding of the functional and physical interactions between vehicle sub-systems Should have basic understanding of various manufacturing Processes related to Software and electrical parts End Of Line processes and diagnostic tool Working knowledge of problem solving techniques and design optimization Benchmarking Warranty Analysis Cost Reduction Value Engg Strong analytical skills Excellent communication skills Ability to lead the team to achieve the required functional cost weight timing quality objectives Awareness of 3D CAD packages such as CATIA V5 CAD data layouts Digital Mock Ups DMU PLM Knowledge of all legislative standards AIS and new regulations CMVR EEC ECE ADR FMVSS etc Knowledge about new technology and future trends in automotive vehicle Basic Knowledge of Six Sigma and Quality Tools e g QFD Tradeoff etc
