Job OverviewVilla Maya is seeking a Junior F B Service Associate for our Thiruvananthapuram location This full-time position requires 1 to 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry and Qualification Diploma or Degree Hotel management The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail working collaboratively as part of our renowned team to enhance the dining experience for our guests Roles and Responsibilities Greet and seat guests ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere from arrival to departure Provide menu guidance and make personalized recommendations based on guest preferences Accurately take food and beverage orders inputting them promptly into the POS system Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of tables resetting as needed to meet presentation standards Address guest queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism elevating the dining experience Participate in regular team briefings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Report to the manager and adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures to ensure compliance and service excellence RequirementsQualifications and Skills Exemplary customer service skills to ensure satisfaction and return visits Mandatory skill Outstanding communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Mandatory skill In-depth knowledge of food and beverage to guide guests through our unique menu Mandatory skill Strong understanding of hospitality standards to maintain Villa Maya s esteemed reputation Ability to upsell effectively to enhance guests dining experience and meet sales targets Proficiency in table setting to maintain the visual appeal and setup of the dining environment Efficient multi-tasking abilities to handle various guest requests and service operations seamlessly Experience with point-of-sale systems for accurate order processing and billing
