If you re looking for a career that will help you stand out join HSBC and fulfil your potential Whether you want a career that could take you to the top or simply take you in an exciting new direction HSBC offers opportunities support and rewards that will take you further HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world with operations in 64 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Redhat OpenShift Administrator In this role you will Manage and maintain KVM-based virtualization environments including provisioning monitoring and troubleshooting virtual machines Optimize KVM performance and ensure high availability of virtualized infrastructure Implement security best practices for KVM environments Deploy configure and manage OpenShift clusters in on-premises and hybrid cloud environments Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift workloads ensuring high availability and performance Manage OpenShift networking storage and security configurations Perform upgrades and patching of OpenShift clusters and associated components Automate the provisioning configuration and management of OpenShift clusters and virtualized workloads Automate VM migration process which include pre-checks actual migration post checks Implement monitoring solutions for KVM and OpenShift environments using tools like Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations for resource utilization and cost efficiency Work closely with development DevOps and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and applications Document infrastructure designs processes and best practices for internal knowledge sharing To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on KVM virtualization and OpenShift administration Strong expertise in managing KVM hypervisors and virtualized environments Hands-on experience with OpenShift installation configuration and troubleshooting Hands on experience with automation tools like Ansible Terraform etc Experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting Familiarity with networking concepts storage solutions and security best practices Knowledge of CI CD pipelines and DevOps practices You ll achieve more when you join HSBC HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment Personal data held by the Bank relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement which is available on our website Issued by - HSBC Software Development India
