practices with an aim towards efficiency automation and improved transparency Delivery Sprint Teams will be at the core of delivering this agenda Delivery Sprint Teams will build and integrate components of the DevOps pipeline to deliver new banking capabilities as well as refactoring of existing applications Sprint teams will all be experienced programmers operations people and product owners who can develop and drive their capability development end-to-end Breadth across both programming and system operations is required of all candidates and depth must be demonstrated in their specialization this is a cross-functional team with cross over between development and operations with business Key Responsibilities Mobile Web Developer As a web Engineer you will focus on product development work with your squad to finalize end to end solution and deliver the product to the Bank s digital channels You will be part of the team that constantly analyse and improve the digital channel platform from a technical point of view as well as from user experience view You will need to keep yourself updated with the latest software technologies and share the knowledge with your team The team is responsible for building user-centric web and mobile-based digital banking applications for use by both internal Bank staff and external Bank customers around the world You will work with highly skilled engineers on ReactJS EmberJS Flutter and native mobile platforms iOS Android in modern software development environments and practices As part of the digital channels team you will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolving technical direction of the team as we adapt to this rapidly changing space Responsibilities The successful candidate is responsible developing a new generation of Digital Banking to promote a better user experience to clients The individual is going to be part of agile team developing world class leading mobile banking Expect to be challenged in your adaptability and ability to think out of box and use creative idea to resolve kinds of complex real world programming challenges Strong knowledge of ReactJS with a focus on best practices and design principles Optimize web applications and user experience for responsiveness and performance Gather requirements design develop deploy support applications Work closely with Product Owner and Scrum teams to deliver user-centric solutions for internal and external customers Promote adoption and rollout of Agile and modern software engineering practices Promote and practice innovative software engineering practices and architecture design Co-ordinate with development interfacing teams and create a delivery pipeline across multiple streams Ensure risks issues and schedules are appropriately managed following agile principles Collaborate with core DevOps and Testing teams to build and enhance a continuous delivery pipeline Adapt to changes in priorities and requirements Skills and Experience Swift iOS Crashlytics Mandatory Skills Hands-on experience in developing web applications with ReactJS and Typescript Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming OOP Strong experience with state popular libraries e g Zustand Redux React Router SCSS NextJS Strong experience with mobile hybrid architecture WebView and JS bridge Strong understanding of API integration Comfortable with practicing TDD Test-Driven Development and pair programming Experience in evaluating new front-end methodologies and technologies Solid understanding of responsive web design cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization Experience in maintaining applications crash analytics remote debugging and continuous integration Proficient in DevOps practices and tools Experience building maintainable and testable code bases including API design unit testing and UI testing techniques Understanding the iOS Android system and programming paradigm including OOP TDD reactive patterns and dependency management Knowledge of runtime security for web applications Pen Test Good communication and interpersonal skills Prior Experience BS or MS in Computer sciences or Software engineering with 5 years of relevant experiences preferably within an international technology organization in delivering complex projects Proven experience in iOS Android Flutter development Proficiency in other programming languages e g Swift Objective-C Kotlin Python Rust Ruby or Java Full software development lifecycle experience DevOps toolchain experience ADO JIRA Bitbucket Jenkins Artifactory Vx TDD BDD performance and Security testing for mobile and web Good written and verbal communication skills in English About Standard Chartered We re an international
