What You'll Do - Execute manual testing (functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory) for web and mobile applications. - Design, develop, and maintain basic automation scripts for UI and API testing using Selenium, Postman, and TestNG. - Create and maintain detailed test cases, test data, and test reports. - Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools; collaborate with developers to ensure timely fixes. - Conduct API testing and validate response accuracy and data consistency. - Perform database validation through SQL queries to ensure data integrity. - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews as part of an Agile/Scrum team. - Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage. Qualifications - 12 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation). - Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and the SDLC/STLC process. - Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, and Postman (RestAssured is a plus). - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or ClickUp. - Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries for backend validation. - Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills. - Eagerness to learn automation frameworks and testing tools.
