About the Role:

We are looking for a
Software Test Engineer
with strong experience in
Java, Selenium WebDriver
, and
API testing
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through effective test planning, automation, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute
    automated test scripts
    using
    Selenium WebDriver
    and
    Java
    .
  • Perform
    API testing
    using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Participate in
    requirement analysis
    ,
    test case design
    , and
    test strategy
    discussions.
  • Identify, report, and track
    defects
    through the defect management process.
  • Collaborate closely with
    developers
    ,
    business analysts
    , and
    project managers
    to ensure timely and quality releases.
  • Conduct
    regression testing
    ,
    integration testing
    , and
    functional testing
    as required.
  • Maintain and enhance
    test automation frameworks
    for scalability and efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in
    Java
    and
    Selenium WebDriver
    .
  • Good understanding of
    API testing
    and tools such as
    Postman
    ,
    Rest Assured
    , or similar.
  • Experience with
    test automation frameworks
    (TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
  • Knowledge of
    SDLC
    ,
    STLC
    , and
    Agile methodologies
    .
  • Familiarity with
    version control tools
    (e.g., Git) and
    CI/CD pipelines
    .
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
