Senior Lead Engineer 7-10 years experience who thrives in a collaborative environment enjoys being hands-on tackling technical challenges and leading teams to deliver innovative solutions You ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the globe leading the design development and optimization of features to ensure high-quality scalable solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences The Senior Lead Engineer role has key strategic importance and visibility within the business This is a unique role that will focus on delivering thought leadership in advertising that enable other team members to learn and extend Supporting the Engineering Manager Tech Lead in setting the technical direction Providing technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of the team Supporting and driving continuous improvement of our production systems and being an advocate for the overall health of our systems Working with stakeholders to design high quality solutions that meet the needs of our users including vendor platforms Writing testing and documenting code according to REA Engineering standards and practices We are looking for someone with Well-versed in SQL Python ETL ELT pipelines Experience with Data modelling Experience with Data pipelines Experience with Data consumption Experience with Data analysis and documentation Experience with Data warehousing Advanced skills in designing solutions that scale and perform for millions of users Advanced skills in developing long-term system architecture strategies Experience with modern software development techniques e g functional programming microservice architecture test-driven development and CI CD Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders Able to understand business customer and consumer needs to provide appropriate data solutions Able to mentor other engineers in a collaborative agile team environment Someone passionate about data and the latest data technologies Good awareness of TDD CI CD approaches and tools Bonus Points for Experience Big Query PostgreSQL MSSQL Python libraries Pandas Requests JSON Docker Kafka Linux shell
