Role Overview - We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager based in Mumbai to spearhead TradeLab's expansion across Western India. This high-impact, hunter-focused role centers on building new client relationships with discount brokers, full-service brokers, banks, and fintech platforms. - The focus is on prospecting, pipeline development, and closing high-value deals, with minimal account nurturing. The ideal candidate will have deep industry expertise, a strong network in capital markets, broking, and fintech, and a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - New Business Development: Aggressively acquire new clients across Western India, targeting discount brokers, full-service brokers, banks, and fintech platforms aligned with TradeLab's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). - Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline by prospecting, qualifying leads, and advancing opportunities through discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure. - End-to-End Sales Ownership: Lead complex, enterprise-grade sales cycles from outreach to contract signing, engaging senior stakeholders (CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, Heads of Broking). - Solution Positioning: Collaborate with solutions architects and product teams to tailor TradeLab's offerings (ORMS, MetaTrader integrations, PULSE AI, CRM/LPA solutions) to address client pain points. - Regulatory Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEBI guidelines, algo trading controls, T+0 settlement workflows) to position TradeLab's solutions as compliance-driven and efficient. - Brand Representation: Represent TradeLab at industry events, trade shows, webinars, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership. - Market Feedback: Provide actionable insights from client interactions to shape product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies. - CRM Management: Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to ensure accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and client interactions for data-driven forecasting. Must-Have Qualifications: - Experience: 10+ years in sales within capital markets technology, trading infrastructure, or fintech SaaS, with 5-8 years focused on enterprise or mid-market financial institutions. - Network: Extensive connections with decision-makers (CxOs, Tech Heads, Risk Committees) at brokers, banks, and fintech platforms in Western India. - Proven Track Record: Consistent success in meeting or exceeding half-yearly and yearly sales targets in a high-pressure, target-driven environment, with a focus on hunting and closing new business. - Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional ability to engage business and technical stakeholders, translating complex technical solutions into compelling value propositions. - CRM Expertise: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline management and sales forecasting. - Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences. - Self-Starter Mindset: Thrives as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating initiative, resilience, and accountability. - High-Pressure Performance: Proven ability to deliver results under tight timelines in high-stakes settings.
