We are seeking a seasoned Content & Brand Strategist with exceptional taste and a collaborative spirit to join our team and elevate our digital footprint.
The Role:
As our Content & Brand Strategist, you will be the strategic mind and creative director behind our content. You are not expected to be a hands-on video editor or graphic designer; rather, your strength lies in your vision, your ability to provide clear direction, great visual teand your skill in giving constructive feedback to our creative team. You will work directly with our founder, Damin Singh Sahni, to build his personal brand as an industry authority and solidify Off the Rack as a premier destination for fashion and retail intelligence. A strong belief in leveraging AI to augment creativity and efficiency is crucial for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute a sophisticated content strategy for our YouTube and Instagram channels.
- Identify target audiences and research compelling topics within the retail and fashion sectors.
- Build and manage a flexible content calendar, focusing on a consistent output of high-quality educational and entertainment content.
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, retail landscape analysis, and audience interests to ensure our content is timely, credible, and insightful.
- Write compelling, well-structured scripts for content, translating complex retail concepts into accessible and engaging narratives.
Creative Direction & Quality Control:
- Provide clear creative direction and actionable feedback to video editors and graphic designers to achieve a polished, editorial aesthetic.
- Oversee the consistent production of high-quality podcasts and reels, ensuring they align with the brand's voice and vision.
- Serve as the guardian of our brand's taste level, ensuring all content is sophisticated, engaging, and visually appealing.
Community Management & Publishing:
- Posting all final content on our Instagram and YouTube channels, keeping in my trends, seo and good quality captions that connect with the audience.
- Manage the publishing schedule to optimize for reach and engagement.
AI Integration & Workflow Optimization:
- Champion the use of modern AI tools
- Master the art of blending AI capabilities with your unique context and strategic skills to create superior content efficiently.
Team Collaboration:
- Work seamlessly with our internal team and creative partners, fostering a positive and highly collaborative environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the strategic vision and the creative execution team.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, social media management, or brand marketing.
- Strong, proven experience growing YouTube and Instagram channels, specifically those centered around podcasts and educational content.
- Exceptional visual taste and a proven ability to clearly articulate that creative vision and provide effective, constructive feedback to designers and editors.
- A natural leader and team player with exceptional communication skills, who thrives on providing direction and collaborating with others.
- A forward-thinker who embraces and has experience leveraging AI tools for content creation and workflow optimization.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for and deep knowledge of the fashion, retail, and consumer trends landscape.
