The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and generating sales for the company s web development services This position requires an individual who is motivated results-driven and has a deep understanding of the web development industry The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals while establishing strong relationships with potential clients and helping them choose the right web solutions to meet their needs Key Responsibilities 1 Lead Generation and Prospecting - Identify and generate new business leads through various channels including cold calling email campaigns social media networking and attending industry events - Research and identify potential clients in need of web development services including custom websites e-commerce platforms SEO and digital marketing - Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent sales activity 2 Sales Presentations and Client Engagement - Conduct effective sales presentations and product demos to potential clients showcasing the company s web development offerings - Understand client needs and requirements to recommend tailored web development solutions that align with their business goals - Answer client questions and address concerns throughout the sales process providing clarity and expert advice on the web development process 3 Sales Negotiation and Closing - Negotiate pricing terms and contracts with prospective clients to close sales - Work with internal teams designers developers project managers to ensure the proposed solution is feasible and aligns with client expectations - Close deals and convert prospects into long-term clients while ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery team for project initiation 4 Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service follow-up and regular communication - Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any post-sale inquiries and working with the project team to ensure the project meets client expectations 5 Sales Reporting and Documentation - Maintain an up-to-date CRM system to track leads prospects and sales activities - Prepare and submit weekly or monthly reports on sales activities progress towards targets and forecasts to the Sales Manager or Director - Monitor sales metrics such as conversion rates deal size and sales cycle duration to continually improve performance 6 Market and Competitor Analysis - Stay informed about industry trends competitor offerings and emerging technologies to help identify new sales opportunities - Communicate market insights to the team to assist in the development of more effective sales strategies 7 Collaboration with Marketing - Work closely with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns generate leads and ensure alignment between sales and marketing strategies - Provide feedback on sales materials and marketing collateral based on client interactions Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or a related field preferred - 1-3 years of sales experience ideally in a web development software or technology-related industry - Understanding of web development services e g custom websites e-commerce platforms SEO web design - Proven ability to generate leads build a sales pipeline and close deals - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to engage clients and present solutions effectively - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Self-motivated goal-oriented and results-driven Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with web technologies e g HTML CSS JavaScript CMS SEO etc - Previous experience in selling web development SaaS products or IT services - Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and trends Personal Attributes - Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills - Excellent organizational and time-management abilities - Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing solutions that help clients succeed - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced target-driven environment ref updazz com
