A SID Sponge Iron Steel DRI Plant Shift Incharge is responsible for supervising all operations personnel and safety during their shift to ensure smooth and efficient production Key duties include managing the shift team conducting and overseeing mechanical or electrical maintenance troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and maintaining production targets quality and safety standards The role also requires thorough record-keeping and reporting of shift activities and performance Key responsibilities Shift Supervision Oversee and guide the shift team operators technicians electricians etc to meet production goals and operational efficiency Maintenance Troubleshooting Ensure the smooth operation of all equipment by performing and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance Respond to and resolve mechanical or electrical faults in critical machinery like kilns motors VFDs and compressors Monitor equipment health and coordinate major repairs or overhauls Production Quality Monitor and maintain optimal operating parameters to ensure production targets are met Ensure the quality of the final product is not compromised Safety and Compliance Enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations and procedures Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and statutory norms Reporting and Coordination Maintain detailed logs and records of shift activities breakdowns and performance Report shift performance to the next in-charge or management Coordinate with other departments operations maintenance etc to ensure a seamless workflow Required skills and qualifications Education Typically requires a diploma or degree in Mechanical Electrical or a related engineering field Experience Minimum experience in a SID DRI Steel plant with prior supervisory or shift-in-charge experience being essential Technical Skills Strong knowledge of plant machinery e g kilns rotary equipment HT LT systems VFDs and maintenance practices Leadership Ability to lead manage and motivate a team Problem-Solving Strong analytical and problem-solving skills especially under pressure Communication Good communication and coordination skills JOB APPLY http jobs vinayakjob com CONTACT DETAILS - Name - DIMPAL Number - 91 91099 99669
