Job Description

We are looking for QA Automation Test Engineer.

Position- Lead Test Engineer.

Experience- 8+

Location- Hyderabad.

Skills- Selenium , Java, Automation Testing.

Notice period- Only Immediate.

Roles and Responsibilities Automation Test Engineer (Selenium + Java)

1. Design and Develop Test Automation Scripts

- Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Create custom utilities and helper functions to streamline test development.

1. Develop and Execute Test Cases

- Write end-to-end automated test cases for web applications, ensuring high test coverage for UI and functionality.
- Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing as part of continuous integration.

1. Integrate with CI/CD Pipelines

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Ensure automated tests run reliably as part of the build process.

1. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

- Work closely with developers, manual QA, DevOps, and product managers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

1. Defect Logging and Tracking

- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

1. Maintain and Enhance Test Suites

- Regularly refactor and optimize test scripts to improve performance and reliability.
- Update test suites based on product changes or feature enhancements.

1. Test Data Management

- Create, manage, and use test data efficiently for various test environments and scenarios.

1. Reporting and Documentation

- Generate detailed test execution reports and metrics using tools like Extent Reports, Allure, or similar.
- Document test processes, frameworks, and standards.

1. Browser and Platform Compatibility Testing

- Execute automated tests across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and operating systems.

1. Continuous Learning and Improvement

- Stay updated with the latest in test automation trends, Selenium updates, and Java libraries.
- Recommend and implement improvements to QA tools and processes.
