Job Title: Test Engineer (Automation)Location: Hyderabad - Hi Tec City (Near to Cyber Towers)Job Mode - Work from Office | Monday to Friday (Morning Shift)Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Test Engineer (Automation) to join our dynamic QAteam.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus onautomation, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testscripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:● Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using testing tools andframeworks.● Design and implement automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobileapplications.● Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand productrequirements and create comprehensive test plans.● Identify, document, and track software defects in a bug tracking system.● Perform regression testing to ensure previously developed and tested software stillperforms after a change.● Monitor automated test results, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports on findings.● Continuously improve automation frameworks to support scalability, stability, andreliability.● Participate in code reviews to ensure automation standards are being met.● Provide input on QA best practices, tools, and frameworks to optimize the testingprocess.● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and improve releaseprocesses.
Requirements:● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.● Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on automation (2+ years preferred).● Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, Java Script, or C#.● Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Test NG, JUnit, orsimilar.● Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bamboo.● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.● Experience testing APIs and using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:● Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Load Runner.● Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.● Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.● Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.● ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
