The industry faces glaring challenges including lack of trust, excessive lead times, quality uncertainty, lack of transparency and tons of operational challenges. In the past 20 months of the company's operation, we have scaled up our operations serving in more than 32 countries and have active partnerships with more than 100s of customers and suppliers. The company has raised a total of upwards of $7.5mn from marquee investors like InfoEdge Ventures, Prime Venture Partners and from promoters of companies like Vinati Organics, Laxmi Organics, and Coromandel International. Our highly ambitious team comprises alumni from IITs, IIMs, NITs and have extensive experience of working in startups as well as multinational companies. We want to create a team with A-players and rockstars in all roles. When such a team comes together, no vision seems unachievable, and everyone pushes to deliver outstanding results. - Location: Mumbai Roles and Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership - Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals, culture, and growth plans. - Partner with leadership to provide strategic input on organization design, workforce planning, and talent strategy. - Act as an advisor to founders and senior management on people and culture initiatives. Policy Design and Implementation - Create, review, and update HR policies, frameworks, and procedures across all HR functions. - Ensure policies are compliant with applicable labor laws and best industry practices. Talent Acquisition and Development - Build and refine recruitment and onboarding processes suited for a startup environment. - Identify skill gaps and recommend training, mentoring, or development programs. Performance and Culture Management - Develop and manage performance evaluation frameworks and goal-setting processes. - Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusion. Compensation and Benefits - Review and design competitive compensation structures, benefits, and reward systems. - Advise on incentive plans, ESOPs, and retention strategies. HR Operations and Compliance - Streamline HR processes through automation and process optimization. - Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and ensure data confidentiality. Startup Consulting (Preferred) - Guide early-stage or scaling startups in setting up HR foundations and scalable people systems. - Provide insights on best practices for HR in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Engagement Flexibility - Work on a full-time, part-time, or project basis as per organizational needs. - Deliver periodic reports and recommendations on HR metrics and strategic initiatives. Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in strategic HR management, policy formulation, and implementation. - Proven experience in consulting or advising startups or high-growth organizations. - Deep understanding of labor laws, compliance frameworks, and HR best practices. - Strong ability to translate business goals into effective people strategies.
