JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the position

Provide support for prospecting new clients and managing the existing portfolio. Responsibilities would include - writing credit application, limit set up and monitoring; understand in depth credit profile of the portfolio, etc.

Scope and Dimension

1. CBAP India Client coverage & Portfolio Support: Existing and New
2. Support in achieving CBAP CBIN targets
3. At least 5 years of experience in wholesale corporate banking, credit research work

Job Responsibilities

1. Performing credit analysis / monitoring of existing clients.
2. Prepare credit application / credit grading / self - assessment for assigned clients.
3. Generate detailed financial modelling using a range of models to provide comprehensive information and analysis.
4. Support the corporate customers for their banking requirements; products including fun based, non-fund based, treasury, trade, CMS.
5. Preparing presentations and reports on behalf of seniors for presentations to external parties such as customers and advisors.
6. Collect necessary data and information to support marketing and execution of transactions.
7. Support the RMs on new business opportunities through analysis and review of financial information.
8. Understand and maintain internal compliance requirements
9. Additional items related to the above designated by the Department Head from time to time
10. Helping the RM Team with prospective of new clients – both local and MNC.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

1. Understanding financial concepts, economics and industry trends
2. Strong numerical and financial skills with the ability to interpret financial information and able to design and use financial models
3. MBA from a reputed premier institution, Chartered Accountant or CFA
